We’ve spent a lot of time exploring the USA over the years — from epic road trips and city breaks before kids, to our most recent adventures with two little explorers in tow. And while we’ve travelled to several states in the past, this section currently focuses on family travel in California — one of the best destinations in the US for families who love a mix of cities, beaches, and national parks.

Our latest California Road Trip took us from the iconic sights of San Francisco — all hills, cable cars, and kid-friendly fun — to the awe-inspiring landscapes of Yosemite National Park, where we hiked, picnicked, and had breakfast with one of the most breathtaking views in the world. Along the way, we found hidden gems, toddler-approved stops, and plenty of unforgettable family moments (plus a few chaotic ones that make the best stories!).
