Hi, I’m Sarah — the planner, researcher, and self-confessed travel addict behind this blog. My husband calls me “Sarah Tours” because I usually have two or three trips booked at any one time!
I live in the UK with my husband, our two wonderful boys “Big One” (born 2021) and “Little One” (born 2023) plus our two adorable cats. While we’re rooted in our 9–5 jobs, we make the most of our annual leave to explore the world and create lasting memories as a family.
Together, we’ve visited over 50 countries so far. After a short break for a house renovation and pregnancies, we’re thrilled to be back on the road — this time with two little explorers in tow.
Our Travel Style
We usually aim to travel 2–3 times abroad each year, carefully balancing our budget so we can enjoy more frequent, affordable trips rather than splurging on one big holiday.
Before having children, we leaned towards adventurous getaways over lazy beach breaks. These days, with two small children, we embrace a mix of travel styles — from city breaks and mountain hikes to relaxing seaside escapes.
Traveling with little ones isn’t always easy — there are tantrums, early mornings, and the occasional meltdown — but the rewards are priceless. Seeing the world through their eyes makes all the chaos worth it.
So far, we’ve explored UK destinations, taken a city break in Porto, gone hiking in Austria, and had a beach holiday to Menorca. Most recently, we've just finished the most amazing road trip around California.
